What we share online

Today for cybersmart we learnt what to put on the internet and not what to put on the internet and  everyone had different opinions on what to put on and what not to put on, this is my opinion on what to put on the internet and what not to put on the internet.

This is my 24 Hour Digital Footprint. You can see all the places that I visited on my chromebook in the last 24 Hours.

After looking at my 24 Hour Digital footprint, I think that these websites are appropriate for school and I also think I did really well with this project I enjoyed it very much it was super fun.

About me 2023

Talofa lava and malo lelei.

My name is Estalina and I am a year 8 student in Glen innes school.

I have three sisters and one brother. I am half Tongan and Samoan.

At school my favourite subject is reading because I like to read sometimes and I also like PE because we get to try different sports and we get to practise but I also like to write because it’s kind of fun.

I love to play volleyball, netball and touch because I have so much fun when I play with my friends and family. They are my favourite sports to play and I also love to spend quality time with my family and friends.

Technology – Food Tech

Today  all the year 7 & 8 students we went to Tamki College for Technology.

In cooking Miss Alice told us that our teacher had bad news and she has covid , In cooking we were doing food puzzles and worksheets . We started answering questions and marking them . It was fun because we didn’t get to do as much work as we do with Mrs Hammer . Ms Alice said we will do activities every Mrs Hammer is not there for cooking . We quietly began to work on our food puzzle and work sheet . I enjoyed it because everyone was quiet and it made me concentrate , I finished my food puzzle and work sheet and Ms Alice said we were a good class . I was sitting with Jessie brown and Sapapalii . They were helping me and we finished successfully . I enjoyed Ms Alice’s work because it was nice and simple . We didn’t have enough time so we packed up and said goodbye until next tuesday.

Technology-food

Today rooms 6,7 and 9 went to Technology at Tamaki College, we left around 8:50 to go to the bus and after we arrived at Tamaki College we went to our classes and started our session, today me and my Tech buddies had Mrs Hamer and Mrs Peterson, at the start we listened to our instructions and after Mrs Hamer told us our instructions we grabbed all out ingredients and equipment, after we grabbed our things we carefully sliced up our ingredients and Mrs Hamer came to each table and gave us a pizza base then she gave us the sauce and cheese then we just carefully started to add our sliced veggies and sprinkled our cheese on top we also added bacon, salami and ham. Then we covered our trays with tin foil and sprayed it with the oil and a few minutes later we cooked our pizza in the oven then we started to clean up to finish everything. Lastly we waited a few minutes for our pizza and when it was ready we but it in our lunch boxes and started to eat it.

Technology / Food

Kia Ora today the seniors at Glen Innes School went Tamaki College for technology, I’m in food tech and today we made a healthy stir fry with noodles and vegetables. The first thing we did was get all our ingredients and our stuff and after that we put our pots and pans on the stove to warm up, while we were waiting for that we chopped up our vegetable, the vegetables that we used was cauliflower, carrots and broccoli we also had to chop up some onions to put in our pan when our pots were finnish boiling Mrs Hamer put in our noodles in. When our pan was finished warming up we put our oil in then when the pan was done we put in our onions then our vegetables when we were done we drained out our noodles then we had to clean up, after Mrs Hamer checked our kitchens to see if it was clean and when she approved she would let us eat. After me and my partner were done we dished our food into our lunch boxes then we ate.
